STRANGE LOVE

Like a stream of water flowing gently down the hill

Watering flowers and plants beneath the hill.

Your love blossoms as flowers sprouting in my chest

Creating spring-like feeling within my breast.

Never meant to fall in love

But you accepted my vulnerability and took away my fears.

Staying with me in every little or giant step I take.

Reaching out to me when am at my least.

Often wonder why you keep those loving eyes fixed on me

Wondering why I am your favorite.

I marvel at your unceasing love towards me.

I am amazed at how you keeping smiling at me with the many chances you spoil me with.

You comfort me when hope seems far away.

A reason to smile and laugh you give each passing day.

On days I feel no reason to smile or laugh,

Your love keeps me safe from whatever that comes my way.

One thing that I know is, I will forever be your favourite

No matter how I offend you.

All that matter is I find my way back to you.

Irrespective of how far I have wandered.
