Passage Of Time

enyoscorner.com

I am told time flies on the wings of lightning

Just within a flash it’s all gone from the eyes

Like the struck of a match

You see it appear for a moment then it’s gone

And all left are memories that cannot be reversed.

Giving light unto anything beneath its boundaries

But just when you thought you have had it all,

It gives out it loud cry that echoes to the depth of the ears

Blatantly taking back the light it gave.

Careful how you go about with time

Because when you lose the joy of the moment,

You lose sight thereof.

Showing how violent it could be, if manhandled.

We are but given a little of it here

So embrace the good and the bad

Miss not out when opportunity calls

Embracing every adventure, it gives out to nature

To enjoy the smile of the little ones with innocent souls.

Who know nothing about how this life could be.
