This Thing Called Love

You came when I lost interest in love.

Soothed my troubled heart.

Showed me what it feels to love again

Bleeding from the wounds of the previous

Refuted the need to love on several occasions

As I was afraid to hurt your beautiful soul.

Stares from your eyes tell it all

Your laughter echoes in my ears

As you laugh away my silly jokes.

You dressed and healed my wounds without me noticing

Gradually grew in love with you.

Once again knowing how love feels.
