Dawn To A Brighter Day

enyoscorner.com

Promises of what lay ahead unsung

Choices to be made at crossroads tangles

Eyes straining to see through the murk in the tunnel

Aspirations lay wait at the end of life’s puzzle

The hour of the day steadily goes by

With weary feet walking through the jungle

You wonder if any progress has been made

Fellas narrating tales of path paved

And head clamps with worries outweighed

Desire to know answers to your tale arrays

But replies to these faraway.

Sight slowly gets deem as darkness grows thicker

And the sought for rest intensifies

But the enemy called fear seem to draw nigh

With all of its fierce army.

Out of the darkness comes a sparkle of light

Bringing back the assurance of life

Strength begin to gather in the marrows

As the pull from the dust commence

With each wearied push in the gloom

A glow of the light appears

At last the dreadful dawn is about to end.
